Drake and Future released their collaboration project What A Time To Be Alive on September, 20 2015. Drake and Future recorded the mixtape in just six days at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta.

Drake revealed on his OVO Sound radio show on Beats 1: “I went to Atlanta for six days a couple weeks ago with the hopes of doing some songs with Future, and when you get around Future, it’s like a vortex, that guy can outwork anybody right now.”

During an interview with Rap Radar, Metro Boomin confirmed this saying,

“He [Drake] was telling Future and Esco, ‘Yeah, I’ve been telling Metro let’s do the tape.’ I was like, ‘Oh shit. Alright, this ni**a is pretty serious.’ He was like, ‘Fuck it, we gonna come to Atlanta.’ And two weeks later, we had the studio [Tree Sound Studios] rented out for like six days.”

‘What A Time To Be Alive 2’ is on the way.
