Tupac’s All Eyez On Me is the fourth studio album he released during his lifetime. Released under Death Row and Interscope Records, Tupac came home from jail and got right in the studio. All Eyez On Me was released on February 13, 1996.
Before releasing the album, Tupac had three other potential titles, other than All Eyez On Me: When I Get Free, Supreme Euthanasia , Euthanasia.
During his sentencing in 1995, Pac sat down with Kevin Powell and talked about the album.
“Everybody lookin’ at me right now. The police lookin’ at me, the females, my enemies, reporters, people that want me to fall, people that want me to make it. My mama. In jail, the guards. Everybody lookin’ at me. All eyes on me.“
