The world mourns the loss of another young artist today. News has spread that Philadelphia rapper and model Chynna Rogers has tragically passed away.
Her management confirmed the news in an email statement saying “I can regrettably confirm Chynna passed away.” He went on to add “Chynna was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.”
The A$AP Mob affiliate was beloved by many fans and industry peers. She just released a short EP titled in case i die first earlier this year, earning praise from Pitchfork.
Rogers opened up about her battles with drugs in the wake of her career. She previously released a string of EPs starting with 2015’s I’m Not Here. This Isn’t Happening and 2016’s music 2 die 2.
