Metro Boomin and 21 Savage aim for number one
This week will be a great one for Saint Laurent Don and Young Metro. Metro Boomin and 21 Savage released their second joint project Savage Mode 2 a week ago. The pair released the first mixtape of the series in 2016, and clearly, both the rapper and the producer have been working and improving on their talents. Savage Mode 2 has been getting a lot of praise and rotation.
21 Savage has since dropped two videos off the album. He released a video for Runnin a week ago and that of My Dawg two days ago. Both videos combined have raked about 11 million views on YouTube in just a few days. Slaughter Gang and Boominati fans have also been running up the album streaming numbers. The joint album is expected to debut at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 album chart, with over 173k copies sold in the first week. These are the highest first week numbers for
both artists.
Savage Mode 2 was flavored with Morgan Freeman‘s voice, giving the album a very pleasurable vibe. Freeman also appeared on the album trailer which helped promote the piece of art. Metro Boomin has even been on Twitter shouting Morgan Freeman out.
