Dr. Dre reportedly suffered brain aneurysm on Monday and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, TMZ has reported
It is reported that after being taken to the hospital by ambulance, the rap mogul was taken directly to the ICU. TMZ reports that doctors say Dre, born Dre Young, is in stable condition. The doctors don’t know what caused the bleeding yet and are running multiple tests.
Young is awaiting trial on Wednesday with his estranged wife Nicole Young on their devorce issues. The 55-year old, who was also a member of the iconic NWA, is a prominent figure in hip hop culture and is one of the most influential producers and artists. He has also mentored some of the greatest artists in the genre, including Snoop Dogg and Eminem.
Former NWA member Ice Cube recently asked fans to send love and prayers to the Aftermath Label head via Twitter. “Send your love and prayers to the homie Dr. Dre.” tweeted Ice Cube.

Dr. Dre has issued out a statement on his Instagram.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!“
