For weeks, New York rapper Lil Tjay has been teasing a track titled “Calling My Phone” that fans have since been begging him to drop on social media. He initially revealed that the track will feature another mysterious artist, which happens to be 6LACK. The love-themed song has been highly anticipated and Tjay has now announced its release date. Via Instagram, the Mixed Emotions rapper announced that “Calling My Phone” will drop this Friday, and will feature 6LACK.
Back in November, Tjay revealed that he has been working on his next album for months, and that it was already done. Making the announcement in a since deleted IG post, the 19-year old rapper didn’t reveal neither the title nor the release date. The sophomore album will likely arrive in the course of the year. Tjay dropped his debut album True 2 Myself in 2019 and followed it up with his 2020 mixtape State of Emergency.
