21 Savage and Drake have a longstanding friendship

21 Savage performed at Pandora-sponsored Morehouse and Spelman Homecoming Concert in Atlanta Wednesday night (October 19). The rapper surprised concert-goers at Forbes Arena by bringing out Drake as a special guest.

The pair performed their chart-topping smash hit, “Jimmy Cooks,” for the first time, and Drake went ahead to perform “Nonstop.”

“Along with OVO, I really live this 4L shit,” Drake said onstage. “By the way, I didn’t get invited to this show. Nobody from Morehouse asked me to perform. My brother brought me here, so make some noise for 21 Savage.

In 2018, Savage said that Drizzy doesn’t get the respect he deserves for helping young artists blow.

“He did a lot of shit he didn’t have to do,” the Savage Mode 2 rapper told GQ. “He do a lot of shit for up-and-coming rappers, period. I don’t think he get his respect for that. Every fuckin’ year, he pull a new artist up. Ain’t no other artist on his level do that shit.”
