22Gz was arrested on second-degree attempted murder charges
Brooklyn rapper 22Gz was arrested this week on second-degree attempted murder charges, but it looks like the rapper is now free. The rapper took to Twitter to to confirm his release through a series of tweets.
”Back to work! #MillionDollarBay,” 22 wrote before adding that he shot another video just after he was out of custody. ”Just shot a video on the come out.”
Kodak Black, 22Gz’s label boss, celebrated the rapper’s freedom on Instagram and shared a screenshot of a livestream conversation they had. ‘’Can’t Hold Da Snipe Back @22gzofficial,’’ Yak wrote under the IG post. ‘’I’m Ready To See You Take The Whole New York Rap Scene Over Brother !!! Snipin & Twirlin.’’
The ‘’Sniper Gang Freestyle’’ rapper was cuffed by the police on Sunday after landing at JFK airport in New York from Atlanta on his way to perform at Hot 97 Summer Jam. The 24-year old is being accused of shooting three people in a Brooklyn party hall on March 6. He was granted a $500,000 bail.
