Roddy Richh also previewed new music and shares a blurred 18-19-deep tracklist
Roddy Ricch is currently finishing up his sophomore album and the follow-up to 2019’s Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial. On Saturday (October 9), the Compton rapper shared an update on his Instagram story, promising that he’s aiming at delivering a no-skip album. “For us to drop the album we gotta have a NO skip policy,” he wrote.
On Thursday (October 7), the 22-year-old shared a snippet of unreleased material on his Instagram story. He captioned the preview with an hourglass emoji, further assuring that the album is on the way.
In September, Roddy had teased the album title to be LIVE LIFE FA$T, hinting that it will spawn 18 tracks with a runtime of 51 minutes.
The “Late at Night” artist described what should be expected of the album in a March interview with Complex. “Coming off one of the biggest albums I could’ve done, I feel like taking them back to the basics with me,” he said.
“There’s all the old fans I had when I first started rapping and these new fans that I got since the big album and Grammys and everything. So, I want to bridge the gap between my old fans and my new fans. That’s what I’m on a mission to do with this next situation that I’m working on.”
