Xzibit used to rap as Exhibit A. Xzibit originally went by the moniker Exhibit A.
Before Alvin Nathaniel Joiner was famously known as Xzibit, his first rap name was Exhibit A when he was around 14 years old. He got his start as a guest rapper with The Alkaholiks after moving to LA from Albuquerque. By the time he signed to Loud Records for the release of his second album his name had been updated to its current form.
He went on to work with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop, and others before getting into acting and hosting. He was the host of Pimp My Ride and starred in 8 Mile, among other films. He was on Fox’s Empire as well.
