Megan laments ‘’people don’t take it seriously because I seem strong”
Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez will face off in a Los Angeles court in September for the 2020 shooting where the latter was accused of allegedly firing a gun and hitting the former in the foot. Megan wants to be clear on what outcome she wants from the trial.
The ‘’WAP” rapper features on Rolling Stone’s latest cover story released on Wednesday (June 15) where she said she anticipates to see Lanez go to prison. Megan told the publication straight up, “I want him to go to jail.” She emphasized, “I want him to go under the jail.”
“In some kind of way I became the villain,” she lamented before adding that she feels people are taking her for granted. “And I don’t know if people don’t take it seriously because I seem strong. I wonder if it’s because of the way I look. Is it because I’m not light enough? Is it that I’m not white enough? Am I not the shape? The height? Because I’m not petite? Do I not seem like I’m worth being treated like a woman?”
The Houston native also revealed that the current going-ons and the impact they are having on her will inspire her next album. “I want to take you through so many different emotions,” she said. “At first you was twerking, now you might be crying.”
