Joey Bada$$’s next album will be available for pre-save on Friday
Joey Bada$$ announces that he’s dropping a new song, ”Where I Belong,” on Friday (July 1) as well as revealing the release date for his first album in five years, 2000. ‘New song, presaves & release date Friday,” Badmon wrote in a tweet shared on Tuesday (June 28). ”New song Friday. #WhereIBelong,” he added.
While to speaking to Vibe magazine during BET Awards, Joey explained what should be expected of the album. “On the new album 2000, what should be expected is that classic Joey sound, you know what I’m saying? That authentic Joey,” he said. ‘’Everything that you want out of Joey Bada$$, you’re going to get from this project right here. I’m excited for this.”
The forthcoming project will follow up Joey’s 2017 album, All-Amerikkkan Badass, that featured Schoolboy Q, J. Cole, Kirk Knight, Meechy Darko, Styles P, and Chronixx.
