Dugg to be sentenced in May

Detroit rapper 42 Dugg pleads guilty on charges of failing to turn himself in for a six month sentence, Detroit News reported. The 28-year-old faces five years behind bars and a $250K fine. He’ll be sentenced on May 10 and prosecutors will recommend six months in prison as part of the deal.

After serving his sentence, Dugg will also spend 30 days as an inpatient for drug treatment. He’ll also spend another 30 days as an outpatient.

The Free Dem Boyz rapper was arrested in March 2020 for gun possession and was sentenced to three years of probation and a $90K fine in November 2021. The 4PF artist violated the probation following multiple arrests where he tested positive for drugs.
