Fif’ backs media mogul amid $260M lawsuit filed by former actor
50 Cent has come to the defense of longtime friend Tyler Perry after the filmmaker was hit with a $260 million lawsuit alleging sexual assault and harassment.
The suit was filed by actor Derek Dixon, who claims Perry subjected him to ongoing harassment and professional retaliation after rejecting the director’s alleged advances. Dixon worked on several of Perry’s TV productions and now accuses the media mogul of escalating misconduct.
Perry has strongly denied the accusations through his legal team, calling the case a “scam” and a “shakedown attempt.” His attorney said, “This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry for what now appears to be nothing more than setting up a scam. But Tyler will not be shaken down and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail.”
In response, 50 Cent took to Instagram to show his unwavering support. “Did that b!tch just say what I think he said? Nah, we ain’t jacking this shit gang! No way,” he wrote.
He later added in a joking post featuring Katt Williams: “Tyler that case bullshit don’t worry about that… he [Williams] gonna have a field day with this.”
Despite his humor, 50 made his loyalty clear: “Hey I think anyone who talks bad about Tyler Perry should die… you should die now!”
