50 Cent hinted that his next documentary may focus on Luigi Mangione, the supposed murderer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson
In a now-deleted Instagram post from December 11th, 50 Cent expressed interest in Mangione’s story: “I don’t know, I kinda like this killer. Sorry this is going this way it is but I’m doing a documentary on him.”
“He is special! I apologize in advance to anyone who doesn’t understand.”
This latest post could have been a reaction to parts of Mangione’s supposed manifesto, which he reportedly acquired at the time of his arrest.
The excerpt read, “To the Feds, I’ll keep this short because I respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I was not working with anyone.”
Among a slew of other statements, Mangione allegedly described his methods on
50 Cent’s potential documentary project has yet to be formally confirmed. “Elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience,” he said, while denying any complicated conspiracy. He also mentioned some notes and task lists being found in a spiral notebook, implying that those could shed light on his intentions.
