Wu-Tang Clan‘s summer 1997 sophomore album ‘Wu-Tang Forever’ was the first album to go No. 1 in the UK on June 14, 1997. The album was released on June 3rd, 1997 by Loud/RCA Records. Wu-Tang Forever went No. 1 both in the U.S.— 200 chart— and the Official U.K. chart, selling 612,000 units the first week. Wu-Tang Forever was pressed as a double album with 11-tracks on the first disc and 18-tracks on the second disc.
