Badazz issues his first statement since being shot in Dallas

Two days ago, Louisiana rapper was in Dallas to pay homage to his fallen friend and collaborator . While riding through the city, Lil Boosie’s sprinter van was shot at near a strip mall called Big T’s Plaza. Earlier reports stated that the “Set It Off” rapper wasn’t hit in the shooting. TMZ recently reported that according to police, Boosie was actually shot in the leg and is going through medical treatment.

Hours ago, Boosie was on Instagram expressing his gratitude to his fans for showing him love and sending birthday wishes following the incident. No Jumper captured the IG story and reposted it. “I’M GOOD APPRECIATE ALL THE BIRTHDAYS WISHES & GET WELL SOON WISHES I LOVE Y’ALL.” wrote Badazz.

The shooting happened days after MO3 was shot and killed at a in Dallas, his hometown. 3 was allegedly stalked and followed after leaving a female’s place. The rapper crashed his car at the highway and tried to escape on foot, unfortunately he couldn’t get too far before he was shot in the back of his head. There are assumptions that the deceased rapper was set up by the female. Prayers to Boosie and MO3’s family.
