Kendrick Lamar to headline 2021 festival in Denmark
Kendrick Lamar has been named the new headliner for the 2021 Roskilde Festival taking place in summer 2021. The Roskilde, Denmark festival is hopeful for 2021, announcing Kendrick and others as the headliners and performers for the festival taking place from June 26 to July 3.
“We are on the threshold of a new year, and we think there is a need and reason to be hopeful,” the festival says on site statement. “That's why we're revealing another act for next year's festival. Rapper, songwriter, producer, Pulitzer Prize winner Kendrick Lamar returns to Roskilde Festival.”
While it is exciting to hear K Dot will be headlining the festival, this also gives reason to believe that Kendrick will be dropping a new body of work to perform at the music, art, activism and freedom festival.
Kendrick's last body of work (DAMN.) left listeners impressed, but, of course, the need for more is present — especially after a 3-year departure from solo work.
