Chicago rapper Calboy employs Lil Wayne in “Miseducation,” a track that pays tribute to Lauryn Hill’s diamond-certified 1998 album, Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The single, released on Monday (March 22) arrives along with its visuals directed by Shomi Patwary. “Feed your soul like Lauryn Hill and some Wyclef,” Cal raps. “Pray to the Lord, he give me guidance and the right steps/My shorties wildin’ they get live up in the night, yea/I’m from the darkness, baby, I’m so used to nightmares!”

Produced by OZ and Austin Powerz, the single is expected to appear on Calboy’s next project, Redemption, which will arrive this year. The album will follow 2020’s Long Live Kings that featured Lil Tjay, G Herbo, Lil Baby, King Von, Polo G, Fivio Foreign and Yo Gotti.
