T-Pain was and still is — a hit-making machine.

The go-to guy for the hooks and the hits in the mid-to-late 2000s was T-Pain. 2006-2007 spawned the hits “Shawty” with Plies and “Low” with Flo Rida.

On a recent episode of Drink Champs podcast, T-pain talked about the history of these songs, and how he wrote both hooks in the same session, on the same night.
