Kendrick’s album is still on rotation

It’s almost a month since Kendrick Lamar released his fifth studio album, Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers, and fans around the world are still spinning the body of work. According to DJ Akademiks, the album has moved 88,000 album-equivalent units in its third week of release.



The album was released in May and shot up straight to #1 on Billboard 200 after selling 295,000 units. This is the second biggest opening week in 2022 after Harry Styles’ Harry’s House. In the second week, the double-disc album dropped to the third position with 96,000 units sold.
