Rae Sremmurd are coming back with first song since 2018
It’s been four years since Mississippi duo Rae Sremmurd treated us with new music, but they are about to quench the thirst. On Monday (June 6), the ‘’Black Beatles’’ rappers shared a trailer for their upcoming single, ‘’Denial,’’ set to drop on June 8. The forthcoming record is available for pre-save.
In the clip shot in Brazil, Swae Lee raps about the difficulties of being in a relationship. ‘’I’ve heard many fairy tales of love go bad, I’ve heard so many say they’ll never love again, I walk away and never turn back, it’s not the first time it won’t be the last,’’ he raps with a sharp melody.
The group is working on their fourth studio album, SREMM4LIFE, which they said will arrive soon. On May 30, the multi-platinum rappers took to their official Twitter page to announce the project, adding a graphic burning number four. “Bout to get a dose of this Sremmy,” Swae Lee also tweeted before Slim Jxmmi added, “Time for that 4 foe four for phor.”
Sremmurd released their last album, SR3MM, in 2018 with guest appearances from Travis Scott, Future, Pharrell, Young Thug, The Weeknd, Juicy J among others. It debuted at #6 after moving 57,000 album-equivalent units.
