NBA Youngboy to enter a new chapter in his career with Motown

NBA Youngboy is finally parting ways with Atlantic to join Motown Records. Per a report by Billboard on Monday (October 24), the Louisiana rapper has signed a new deal with the Universal Music Group-owned label, and will start releasing music through it in 2023.

Youngboy had signed a global joint venture with Motown in 2021 for his label Never Broke down, LLC. Together they’ve released two compilation albums and are dropping another one, Nightmare on 38th Street, on October 28.

The 23-year old had been calling Warner Bros’ Atlantic Records his musical home since 2016. He has delivered 4 albums and numerous mixtapes under the record company.
