First suspect in YSL RICO case convicted of murder

First person in the high profile RICO indictment against Young Thug and his YSL crew, including Gunna, has been handed four consecutive life sentences, as well as five consecutive years in prison for murder and robbery. Jayden Myrick was found guilty of the crimes on Thursday (October 27), Fox 5 News reported.

Myrick, who also goes by SetTrip or JayMan, along with co-defendant Torrus Fleetwood, were accused of robbing four people who were awaiting a ride outside a venue of a wedding they attended at the Capital City Country Club in Brookhaven residence in July 2018. Christian Broder, one of the victims, reportedly followed the perpetrators in an attempt to have them return his driver’s license, but Myrick shot him in the stomach and he succumbed to his wounds a week later.

Myrick and Fleetwood were arrested that year, and the former was 17 at the time. He was named as part of the YSL RICO indictment while he was already in jail in May 2022. Myrick admitted that “he mocked the family on a jail call and also attempted to intimidate witnesses” in his case.

Myrick was convicted of “16 counts including violation of street gang terrorism and prevention, malice murder, felony murder, armed robbery, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer.”
