Metro Boomin’s upcoming album is a sequel of a trilogy

Metro Boomin is gearing up to release his next album, Heroes & Villains, which he now sheds more light on the its nature. The producer went on social media Tuesday (November 15) to share footage of him and Travis Scott working in the studio, and at the end of the clip, a message reads, “The second installment to the trilogy.”

In the caption, Boomin declared that the forthcoming “sequel is even better than the first.” He also confirmed the release date of December 2. In a tweet from that same day (Tuesday), Boomin posted a photo with Travis recording and added the caption, “This duo NEVER misses.”

The Atlanta-based producer dropped the first installment of the trilogy in November 2018 titled, Not All Heroes Wear Capes. The 13-song project boasted appearances from Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Gunna, Young Thug, Wizkid, J. Balvin, Offset, Kodak Black, and Drake.
