A documentary about Nipsey Hussle is on the way

A new docuseries about the late Nipsey Hussley’s life from childhood to stardom is being produced by LeBron James. A trailer was shared on Tuesday (November 15) for the upcoming film which is executive produced and funded by Maverick Carter’s Springhill. Nipsey’s Marathon Films is also taking part in creating the documentary.

The film will contain unseen footage of Nipsey as well as interviews with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, and his wife Lauren London, as part of 50 guests who’ll make appearances on the doc.

“It’s an incredible honor for SpringHill to have a part in sharing Nipsey’s story and legacy with the world,” LeBron James said, according to Deadline. “He used his gift to give back to his community and lived what it means to inspire, empower, and uplift others along the way. His words, his ambition, and his actions stick with me to this day as he continues to inspire myself, our company, and people everywhere.”
