Sizzla is furious at DJ Khaled for not-so-clear reasons

Jamaican reggae star Sizzla took to social media on Thursday (December 8) to express his anger towards DJ Khaled. The dancehall artist shared a clip of him with his accomplices breaking into pieces plaques he earned for his contribution to Khaled’s albums, Father Of Asahd and Grateful, claiming that the Florida producer disrespected him. The 46-year-old artist asked his friends to “cut out the baby picture” from the album covers, declaring, “the baby is innocent, Asad a the boss.”

After they put the plaques on flames and “watch it blaze,” Sizzla says, “insult me, DJ Khaled.” He added, “You’re not the best, you’re the worst…Burn the devil. Burn corruption.” The singer didn’t expound on the circumstances surrounding the situation.

Sizzla has worked with Khaled on the opening track of his 2017 album Grateful, as well as 2019’s Father Of Asad on the track “Holy Mountain” alongside Buju Banton, Mavado, and 070 Shake. In 2022, he appeared on Khaled’s latest album God Did, on the song, “These Streets Know My Name,” along with Skillibeng, Buju Banton, Capleton, and Bounty Killer.
