Hov and Ye’s hit record enters new class
Jay-Z and Kanye West’s classic hit “Ni**as in Paris” has officially reached the diamond status. The track received the certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 12 after selling over 10M units across the US.
It is Jay-Z’s first single to go diamond and Kanye West’s second after “Stronger.”
The song was released in 2011 as part of Hov and Ye’s collaborative album, Watch The Throne. Produced by Hit-Boy and Mike Dean, the track debuted at No. 75 on Billboard Hot 100 and later peaked at No. 5.
