Doechii receives most Grammy nominations for a female rapper
Doechii stands a chance of scoring significant victories at the 2025 Grammy Awards as she leads her fellow female rappers in the number of nominations received.
On November 8, the list of nominees for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards was made public, and Top Dawg Entertainment’s Doechii is nominated in four categories. The Florida native is also nominated for Best New Artist along with Benson Boone, Sabrina Carpenter, Khruangbin, RAYE, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey, and Teddy Swims.
Her mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal has also bagged a nomination in the Best Rap Album category, competing with Future and Metro Boomin‘s We Don’t Trust You, J. Cole‘s Might Delete Later, Common and Pete Rock‘s The Auditorium, Vol. 1, and Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).
Moreover, Doechii bagged nominations for Best Rap Performance with her song “Nissan Altima,” along in addition to the Best Remixed Recording for her song “Alter Ego (Kaytranada Remix)” featuring JT and Kaytranada.
