50 Cent Confirms New Music but Rules Out a New Album

Share

50 Cent has confirmed that he is working on new music, but fans shouldn’t expect to see a full album from him anytime soon.

Cam’ron interviewed 50 Cent on his YouTube show Talk with Flee. Here, he shared: “I’ going to make some new music.” He followed that by stating: “I got some for the new projects,” where new projects might have been referring to his TV and movie careers.

While it has been all quiet in terms of albums since Animal Ambition in 2014, 50 Cent is far from idle. The rapper-actor-crime buff has continually released singles from his hit series Power and BMF, including “Power Powder Respect” featuring Lil Durk and Jeremih and “Wish Me Luck,” which features Snoop Dogg, Moneybagg Yo, and Charlie Wilson.

While there’s no chance of an album, he has a good collabo on the horizon. This coming Friday (December 13), 50 Cent will be making an appearance on Snoop Dogg’s forthcoming album Missionary, which will be produced entirely by Dr. Dre. He will appear on the track “Gunz N Smoke,” alongside longtime collaborator Eminem, marking the first time Snoop, Dre, 50, and Em have worked together on a single track.

This is quite a “shocker” for the fans of 50, who had teased them earlier with all-knowing remarks on a new album. But it seems his focus has shifted to fusing his music into his very successful TV and film projects.
