Chance and Kirsten Corley have settled their divorce, with terms confirmed but awaiting judge approval
Chance The Rapper and his ex-wife, Kirsten Corley, have officially settled their divorce, ending their five-year marriage. According to TMZ, the couple filed in Cook County, Illinois on Thursday (January 9), confirming that they had reached terms regarding their divorce. Corley accepted the settlement as “fair and equitable resolution” but has not made the details public. The settlement is waiting for a judge’s official approval.
Corley initiated divorce proceedings after five years of marriage and a total of 14 years together. Previously, the two had separated earlier in the spring and issued a joint statement on Chance’s Instagram Stories about it. “We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” it said, adding they would continue as co-parents to their two young daughters, Kensli and Marli.
Chance and Kirsten exchanged vows at an intimate ceremony held at the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, California, in front of 150 friends and family members. Privacy and respect are all they are asking for now as they navigate this transition.
