Drizzy is reportedly avoiding a headliner spot at Rolling Loud, according to co-founder Tariq Cherif
Drake is said to be deliberately avoiding a headliner spot at Rolling Loud, at least according to the festival’s co-founder, Tariq Cherif. Appearing lately on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Cherif talked about the 2025 Rolling Loud California lineup and asked some questions of artists that they had such muses in consideration over the years.
“While Big Boy assured him names didn’t need to be given, Cherif candidly revealed Drake remains elusive. ‘I feel like Drake’s ducking us,’ he said. ‘I got no beef with Drake. I like Drake. I think he’s a great artist. We’ve been trying to book him forever'”
Cherif further stated that there was even a special offer created by the festival’s in-house team – “Three Nights of Drake,” for which three consecutive nights were earmarked for Drake to headline. However, all that was offered talk was useless, as Drake still has not budged from performing at Rolling Loud.
He has showered all such praise on the Canadian superstar but has absolutely no bitter feelings considering Drake’s stature in the industry and hoping someday the evasive headliner would someday grace its stage. For the time being, however, fans would have to wait and see whether or not Drake’s postponement of attending the festival will ever come to an end.
