Travis’ New $160K Hellcat Truck and Legal Battle Over ‘Telekinesis’ Song
Travis Scott has reportedly splurged on a limited-edition, $160K custom Hemi Hellcat V8 Horsepower Apocalypse Omega-Rex pickup truck, hailed as “the most impressive pickup truck on the market.” According to TMZ, the “Utopia” rapper purchased the vehicle from SoFlo Customs, and it is said to be the last of its kind. A video showcasing the truck has been circulating, highlighting its rugged, war-ready features.
While Scott may enjoy his new ride, he’s also facing legal challenges. Victory Boyd, a Roc Nation artist, has filed a lawsuit against Scott, SZA, Future, and others over their song “Telekinesis.” Boyd claims the track copied elements from her 2019 song “Like The Way It Sounds,” which she alleges was shared with Scott through Kanye West. The lawsuit also involves watchmaker Audemars Piguet, who used “Telekinesis” in an ad campaign without Boyd’s permission despite her rejecting the request.
On top of this legal battle, Scott is gearing up for what’s expected to be a historic Coachella performance. Festival organizer Paul Tollett has called Scott’s upcoming headlining set “the most significant experience the festival has ever had,” promising an immersive and unique experience for attendees.
