50 Cent Trolls Diddy Over Failed Friendship Plea and ‘Weird” Offers’

Share

50 Cent is back at it, poking fun at Diddy and their rocky past, this time reminiscing about a public moment when Diddy made an emotional plea for their friendship. The Bad Boy boss was caught talking about their complicated relationship on video, saying, “Me and him could be friends, but he doesn’t want to be my friend.” He continued, asking, “Yo 50, please be my friend. You’re breaking my heart. Curtis, please be my friend. Please.”

50 Cent shared the clip on Instagram, and in classic Fif fashion, he didn’t hold back. After showing Diddy’s heartbroken appeal, the rapper stared into the camera, unamused, and said, “What kind of fucked up shit is this?” In the caption, he wrote, “Nah something ain’t right, stay over there play boy. LOL.”

This wasn’t the first time 50 Cent has revealed tensions with Diddy. He previously detailed an awkward encounter where Diddy offered to take him shopping, something 50 found “weird” and “uncomfortable.” He said, “That might be something that a man says to a woman,” and added, “I’m not fucking with this weird energy or weird shit.” This offer was one of the reasons he chose not to attend Diddy’s infamous parties.

50 also clarified their past, explaining that while they collaborated professionally on hits like “Victory 2004” and the “I Get Money” remix, their relationship was never close enough to be called a friendship. He admitted that Diddy’s ex, Jennifer Lopez, even encouraged Diddy to work with him as a songwriter early in his career, but 50 says he never partied or hung out with him.

50 Cent has always been vocal about his views on Diddy, often claiming that Puff was more of a businessman than a producer, alleging that many people he worked with were taken advantage of, with Diddy receiving the credit instead.
