Rapper celebrates peace and freedom despite recent legal setbacks

Jeezy has opened up about life after his turbulent divorce from Jeannie Mai, describing his current state as “amazing” and focused on peace and self-prioritization.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, the Atlanta rap veteran reflected on how things have changed since finalizing the split. “I tell myself this every day — ‘Man, this is amazing,’” he said. “I don’t got no enemies… no issues. I just want peace, joy, and freedom.”

Emphasizing his desire for creative and emotional liberation, he continued: “This is the season of me. I’m putting myself first at all costs.”

However, his path to that peace has been rocky. As recently as April, Jeezy was warned by a judge he could face jail time for not fully complying with the terms of the divorce settlement. The court found he “willfully failed” to transfer the title of a 2021 Range Rover to Mai and denied his attempt to recoup $20,000 in legal fees.

Their post-divorce relationship has been fraught, with accusations of non-payment of child support, domestic tension, and leaked disputes over housing and assets.

Despite the drama, Jeezy insists he’s moving forward with a renewed focus on freedom, art, and personal growth.
