André deliberately turned down all Hip Hop 50 invitation
This year has been dominated by Hip Hop 50 celebrations and while many rappers have been participating, André 3000 hasn’t been one of them. While speaking to CBS Mornings on Wednesday (December 6), 3 Stacks gave his reasons why he rejected all invitations.
“I didn’t [feel the urge or desire]. I don’t necessarily like looking back,” he explained. “And I wouldn’t want to be in a place where I’m doing it just because I’m trying to meet an expectation. I didn’t get into OutKast for that. You know, we were just kids trying to see how far how we could take it.”
