    Now that “Old Town Road” has completed its near-endless, record-breaking run at #1, Lil Nas X is reminding the world that he has more heat under his belt. The Mike Diva directed video, takes place in a futuristic realm where it’s always nighttime. Lil Nas X portrays an inescapable figure who shows up on hologram billboards, dancing with choreographed robots in back-alleyways, making sure his smiling face will always be seen. The video includes appearances from Skai Jackson, star of Disney Channel’s “Bunk’d”. Lil Nas X took to Twitter to announce the release of the new music video this morning.     For the first time in history, Netflix is set to release their first music competition. The competition has been revealed to revolve around undiscovered hip-hop artists as they strive for success within the industry. Judges for the saga include Grammy award winning artist Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and T.I.

    Unlike most Netflix specials, the series will air over multiple weeks. The October 9th debut will only include four episodes, and primarily focus on auditions. The following episodes airing on October 16th will cover cyphers, music videos, and rap battles. There is no doubt that this is a major deal for the already popular streaming service.     Too $hort has reportedly partnered with Green Holdings Group and White Angel Farms to launch a new cannabis line called “TOO $HORT STIX.” Too $hort says he funded his early rap career through cannabis along with his mixtapes, and that he’s been a cannabis connoisseur for over 30 years.

    The legendary rapper joins a long line of artists who have invested in the marijuana industry, including Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Dr. Dre, Xzibit, and more.

    Despite the dispute earlier this year, Lil Nas X’s crossover smash hit “Old Town Road (Remix) featuring Billy Ray Cyrus has been nominated for a Country Music Award.

    The artist quickly expressed his gratitude to the CMA panel on Twitter.

    “ Thank you guys for this nomination!!!” he wrote.

    The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards will broadcast LIVE from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, November 13, 2019 (8:00-11:00PM ET) on the CBS Television Network.

    Kendrick Lamar made Rich The Kid remove other featured artists from “New Freezer”

    A$AP Ferg and MadeinTYO were featured on the original version of “New Freezer”‬

    During an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, A$AP Ferg claimed Kendrick Lamar would only contribute to the song if the MC was the only guest. Ben [Jayne] [producer] came through, and we did that song together with me, Rich The Kid and a few other niggas … MadeinTYO,” the A$AP Mob member said. “This nigga wind up playing it for fucking, I think Jaden Smith, Kendrick Lamar, all these other niggas. And Kendrick was like, ‘Yo, I’ll get on it as long as everybody come off of it.’”
