Birdman’s half-brother, Terrance “Gangsta” Williams was freed from prison last month after spending 23 years in the slammer. During an interview shared by RaRe Reports on YouTube, Terrance offered his first post-prison statement.

“I would like to address the critics. First of all, I done 23 years and 10 months. I apologize to you all if you thought I was gonna die in prison. I’m too shrewd, smart. However, I plan to answer all these questions that a lot of you social media guys, internet gangstas that had something to say about me,” he said, while promising to open up more about his release in the .

He went on to explain that he’s now focused on enjoying his freedom. “I don’t have to worry about standing up for count, I don’t have to worry about lockdown, I could eat what I want, I’m living. It’s all good. One, I’m out. Much love. Stop the violence, say no to drugs.”


Terrance was released from prison in January after serving over two decades. He’d been sentenced to life and 20 years in prison for dealing heroin and plotting on killing a group of rival dealers.
