Cam narrates strange convo with Hov

Cam’ron recounts a strange text conversation he had with JAY-Z after they met on stage at the memorable B-sides concert of Roc Nation held in 2019.

In the latest episode of his YouTube show Talk With Flee, Killa Cam opened up about the day’s activities in which he took an unanticipated turn to perform, “Welcome to New York” alongside her former label head whom he was famously at odds in the 2000s.

He went on to talk about the aftermath of the concert and specifically a text exchange he had with Hov.

“He texts me, ‘Yo, that was dope last night.’ [I replied,] ‘That was really dope, I appreciate you guys putting this shit to bed.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, man. See how much shit we can do when n-ggas stop acting like there’s fake beef out here. That shit slows shit down.’”

Cam continued: “I didn’t know how to take that. I didn’t know what he meant when he text that. I replied, ‘Well, no matter what, you, Dame and Biggs gave me the opportunity to feed my family legally, so I don’t have no problem with it.’

“But inside, I’m like, ‘Why would he even text that?’ I don’t know. Even to this day, I don’t have no problem but I thought that was weird.”
