Bardi calls out Set for not buying Christmas gifts for their children while revealing she’s taking a break from dating to focus on her goals
Cardi B and Offset’s ongoing divorce has taken a messy turn, with Cardi B claiming that her soon-to-be ex-husband intentionally didn’t buy their three children Christmas gifts to spite her. Speaking to fans on X Spaces on Tuesday (January 14), the Bronx rapper expressed her frustration, saying, “Do you guys know that my kids didn’t receive no Christmas gifts from somebody in particular?”
She continued to call out Offset, accusing him of flying to New York to buy gifts for his other children while deliberately ignoring their shared kids. “A muthafucka thought he was gonna ruin my year and have me fucked up like they had me fucked up last year, but I’m so strong,” she added, clearly hurt but resilient. “Even after you try to ruin me by being spiteful towards me and my kids, I still got my ass up and went to fucking work.”
Cardi also noted Offset’s hypocritical behavior regarding his children. “You want to see the kids? You just called your daughter for the first time this year yesterday. Your newborn. You love your kids so much and you ain’t bought them shit for Christmas, but you came to New York to buy your other kids gifts, but you ain’t bought my kids shit on purpose to spite me.”
In addition to her frustrations with Offset, Cardi B recently revealed that she’s taking a break from dating in January to focus on her career. During a live social media session, she explained her decision to avoid distractions, including sex. “I don’t even want to take dick right now, because every single time I take dick, I get distracted. I don’t want no distraction,” she said.
Cardi B emphasized that January is a crucial month for her artistic goals, and any emotional or romantic entanglements would get in the way of her mission. “I’m a very emotional person, and when I get emotional, I don’t do things with love,” she said, explaining that her emotions can affect her work. “I don’t even want to entertain n-ggas right now until my work is out the way,” she added, expressing pride in her decision to stay focused.
Despite the emotional toll of her ongoing divorce, Cardi is determined to keep her focus on her professional goals and complete her mission for the year.
