DMX’s 8-Year-Old Daughter has Already Recorded 20 Songs Ready to Keep her Father’s Legacy Alive

‘s daughter Sonovah is keeping his legacy thriving

DMX’s 8-year-old daughter Sonovah Hillman Jr. is already beginning to build her career, to keep his late dad’s legacy alive. In an interview with NBC DFW, X’s daughter explained that she makes out of passion and talent in her.

“Whatever is on my mind, I just write about it.” She said. “Rapping makes me feel powerful. Someday I want to own a mansion with 15 bedrooms.”

Sonovah is expected to be featured on two songs off DMX’s posthumous album, but it’s not certain if it’s the already complete , which will be dropping May 28.

Since releasing her debut single “I Hate Zoom,” Hillman Jr. followed it up with “ Kid” on May 8 (Saturday). These are only two of the 20 songs she already has in the vault.

Exodus, X’s first posthumous album since he passed on April 9, is executive-produced by . The album cover art, which was recently shared along with the release date, was shot by Jonathan Mannion. The album will be released via and Ruff Ryders. It will be X’s first album for Def Jam since Grand Champ released in 2003.
