Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady surpasses 1 billion streams following Grammy nomination

Eminem’s Grammy-nominated project The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) has clocked more than a billion streams on Spotify since its release in July.

Per the most recent update by KWORB, reporting data as of Thursday (November 21), the album has registered 1.3 billion streams on the platform.

The project is in the running for Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards, with its lead single ‘Houdini’ also nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Music Video.

This achievement also comes towards the end of the year, which has been very fruitful for Eminem, who was recently revealed as one of the 26 Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) nominees for the year 2025. Twenty years after the release of their first commercially successful recording, whomever this refers, they may be inducted.
