It was produced by fellow Texan LilJuMadeDaBeat and was featured on her album titled Good News. The video for the song featured some intense sex appeal and dance moves. anbd a cameo from Taraji P. Henson.

    The song is pretty self-explanatory and is a celebration of Meg’s hot Body-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody She received the American Music Award for the viral song. It has been remixed and interpolated numerous times since its release and peaked at #12 after 20 weeks on Billboard.

    Lisa “Lefteye” Lopes was born in 1971 in Philly. She got her start in rap with TLC as Lefteye in the ’90s. She was later known as the woman who accidentally burned down her boyfriend Andre Risen’s Atlanta mansion. The 4x Grammy winner had a brief solo career and produced the group Blaque.

    Lopes died in a car crash in Honduras in 2002. The event was documented as she was filming a documentary about Dr. Sebi at the time. It later aired on VH1 in 2007. She recorded a solo album called Supanova that was shelved by the label aside from a few foreign releases. Shortly before her death, she had signed to Death Row.

    After winning 5 Grammys, Hill went into her secret place and has only emerged on her own terms since. She dropped a live album on MTV’s Unplugged and has been touring since but hasn’t dropped a new project. She briefly did jail time for tax evasion. She was featured on “Nobody” by Nas most recently. She is the mother of several children with Rohan Marley, son of Bob Marley.

    One half of Tha Dogg Pound, Daz aka Daz Dillinger was born in Los Angeles in 1973 as Delmar Drew Arnaud. He got his start as a rapper and producer on Death Row Records at 19 with Snoop Dogg, who is his cousin, and fellow rapper Kurupt. He learned production from Dr. Dre.

    Daz and Kurupt formed Tha Dogg Pound in 1992 and both had left Death Row by 1999. Daz was upset about the death of Tupac three years earlier and went out to start D.P.G. Recordz with Soopafly. He was sued by Tupac’s mother Afeni over the release of the Don’t Go 2 Sleep EP featuring Pac and Daz over reworked material from a Boot Camp Click album Pac was working on when he died. Daz is known for his beats. He worked on The Chronic and he produced “Doggy Dogg World,” “What WOuld You Do,” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted.”

    LA-rapper YG dropped the single “Stop Snitchin’” in April of 2019 and a few short years later the song from his album 4REAL 4REAL was officially a platinum record. The song features a dead rat on the album art and is an obvious statement of how he feels about people cooperating with the police. It was produced by TnTXD & Yung Tago.

    The track got a remix featuring DaBaby. According to Genius, “On the track, the two express their displeasure with phony people who hide their true identity and reveal their illegal activities to the police.”

    Heavy D was born in 1967 as Dwight Arrington Myers. He came out of the Mt. Vernon section of New York in the 1970s. He was originally from Mandeville, Jamaica. He was the leader of Heavy D & the Boyz and had many successful albums in the 1980s-’90s. They were the first group signed to Uptown Records. Pete Rock, who is also Jamaican, was his cousin. He helped discover Monifah and Soul for Real.

    Heavy D was known for his flow and singing voice. He often used reggae and dancehall in his rap records. He tragically passed away from a heart attack in 2011. He’s remembered by Teddy Riley and others as an incredible human being and one that contributed so much to rap culture and business.

    Bay-area rapper G-Eazy was born Gerald Earl Gillum in 1989. He’s from Oakland and got his start while in college at Loyola University in New Orleans. He got picked up by the Vans Warped Tour after a mixtape run, which led to wider national exposure. He’s best known for his songs “Me, Myself & I” and “No Limit” featuring ASAP Rocky and Cardi B.

    Gillum has worked in fashion some, releasing a line with Rare Panther in 2015. He’s open about his childhood issues related to his parents splitting up and his mother’s long-term relationship with another woman. The song “Everything Will Be Ok” documents the ordeal of him finding his mother’s lover passed away. In 2021, G-Eazy lost his mother but she urged him to get help with alcohol and substance abuse in a letter. He chose to get help.
