Hit-Boy praises Metro Boomin’s prowess – ‘I’m in full support’

Hit previously dissed Metro in unreleased track

Hit-Boy has good words to say about Metro Boomin despite dissing him in a song preview last year. During a recent sit-down with Back On Figg show host T-Rell, Hit revealed his pride for Metro and his achievements, especially with his latest album Heroes & Villains.

“It’s dope what Metro Boomin just did with his album and having the right artists on there and doing real numbers,” Hit said. “That’s a good push for producers. I’m in full support of that.”

Last March, Hit-Boy previewed a record on Instagram where he dissed a few high profile producers including Young Metro. “I’m usually homeboys with producers I get compared to, but on this one I want to say I’m stretched out, extra leg room/ I don’t really know dude, he seem like a cool cat/ But I never once heard Metro Boomin do boom bap,” Hit rapped on the snippet.

The “Niagra Falls” producer later fired back with a line from Kendrick Lamar’s “Rich Spirit”: “Stop playin’ with me ‘fore I turn you to a song.”
