Ice-T was in the U.S. army.

Before Tracy Lauren Marrow, was famously known as Ice-T, he joined the Army in 1979 after graduating from Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles.

Ice-T was in the army for around four years and he ETS’d in 1983 to pursue his music career. Four years later, Ice-T would released his debut album “Rhyme Pays in 1987, which was also the rap album to carry a Parental Advisory label.

He would then go on to pursue an acting career. Appearing in New Jack City, Luck of the Draw, Gangland, Tracks, Up in Harlem, and plenty of other TV Series and movies.

In the military, was a Squad Leader for the 25th Infantry Division, and he even received an Honorable Discharge.
