Former Roc-A-Fella rapper claims personal lines were crossed that can’t be undone
In a recent appearance on Drink Champs, former Roc-A-Fella Records artist Memphis Bleek addressed the long-standing fallout between JAY-Z and Dame Dash, declaring their relationship irreparably broken. According to Bleek, public jabs and deeply personal attacks have sealed the fate of any reconciliation.
“I feel like a line was crossed, man,” Bleek said. “Them Art of Dialogue interviews—when you speak on a man’s kids, his integrity—there’s no return from that, bro.”
The rapper emphasized the damage caused by Dash’s comments while Jay faced legal and personal challenges, stating it would be impossible to even initiate a conversation about reconciliation.
Dame Dash, for his part, hasn’t held back in recent interviews. Speaking with The Art of Dialogue, Dash alleged that JAY-Z ghostwrote Bleek’s lyrics and questioned Bleek’s ambition. “I probably shouldn’t have said that,” he admitted, “but he’s been talking about me lately.”
Dash also claimed he pushed Bleek harder than Bleek pushed himself: “I personally think I wanted more for Bleek than Bleek wanted for himself.”
With harsh words exchanged on both sides, the once-powerful Roc-A-Fella dynasty seems further from unity than ever.
