JID’s “Surround Sound” featuring 21 Savage & Baby Tate certified gold

“Surround Sound” is the first collab between JID & 21 Savage

Atlanta rapper JID hits a new milestone as his 21 Savage & Babe Tate-assisted single, “Surround Sound,” is now certified gold by RIAA.

The record was released in January as the lead single for his album, The Forever Story. It was initially teased in 2020 as a collab with DJ Scheme, who produced it along with Christo & Nuri.

JID dropped his latest album last week and it’s predicted to enter the charts with 27-30k album-equivalent units.
