Juice WRLD Reportedly Agreed to and Already Signed Up With Rehab Before He Passed

Juice WRLD was ready and signed up for rehab, according to Lil Bibby

Juice WRLD tragically passed away in December 2019, after he accidentally overdosed strong opioid pills. It was alleged that Juice suffered seizure during a police search after landing at a Chicago airport, and later died at a hospital. He was only 21.

The head of the late rapper’s label and fellow Chicago native Lil Bibby was recently in an interview with VladTv where he spoke about multiple issues including Juice Wrld’s drug issues. Bibby revealed that before he passed, Juice had agreed to go to rehab. “We already had him signed up for rehab,” Bibby said. “He agreed to do—because that was like pulling teeth with him.”

Bibby also opened up on what led them to have the “Lucid Dreams” rapper sign up with rehab. “I found out that he was doing four (Percocets at a time). So I get to freaking out. Like ‘What the fuck.’ I get to telling people like ‘Look we got to send this kid to rehab,’” he explained. “I’m telling everyone because I’m thinking ‘That’s a lot.’ Because all people I know only do at the max one. … And these is the 30s.”

As Bibby went on to explain, he also disclosed that a week prior to the rapper’s death, he was doing more than four pills at a time. At that point, Bibby and the people close to Juice had to let him know that he had no choice but going to rehab.

Bibby recalled Juice Wrld’s response after he was asked to attend rehab. “He said: ‘Alright, I’ll go. I’ll go,’” Bibby recounted. “‘But I’m not stopping.’ Like, ‘I’ll lower my dosage … but I like doing it too much.’”
