Ye owes a renting company five figures
Kanye West is reportedly two months behind in rent at his Yeezy offices in Calabasas. According to a report by The Blast on Tuesday (December 13), a company identified as CT Calabasas gives Ye 72 hours to pay his overdue rent of $63,254 or else he’ll be evicted.
In the legal case, the company says they have been hosting Ye’s enterprise since 2015 when it was under the name West Brand Fashion. When West Brand became Yeezy in 2016, Ye entered an agreement to cough out $31,477.40 every month for the 15,000 square feet office designed by Willo Perron.
“Within three days after service of this notice on you, you must pay the amount of said rent in full or quit said premises and deliver up possession of the same to the authorized agent for your landlord,” reads the eviction notice.
It continues, “If you fail to pay or quit, legal proceedings will be instituted against you for possession of the premises, forfeiture of the agreement, and for monetary damages as may be allowed by law. You are further notified that by this Notice the Landlord elects to and does hereby declare a forfeiture of said Lease if said rent is not paid in full within three (3) days.”
