Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg’s smash record “California Gurls” has now been certified diamond by RIAA after earning 10M units in the US.

The track was released as the lead single from Katy’s third studio album, Teenage Dream. The song was produced by Benny Blanco along with Dr. Luke and Max Martin. It became Katy’s highest debut at the time after opening at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It later ascended to No. 1, becoming Katy’s second No. 1 hit and Snoop’s third.
